he worked mainly on security issues relating to secure time synchronization and secure localization with a particular focus on distance bounding.
Kasper’s current research is focused around analysis and design of security protocols, often (but not necessarily) in the domain of embedded systems. This includes applied work on existing systems such as Bitcoin, Google’s Nearby Connections and Bluetooth, as well as new proposals in the area of remote atterstation and P2P.
