Kazuro Sugimuraprofessor

Kazuro Sugimura is professor of radiology and chairman of the department of radiology at Kobe University Graduate School of Medicine in Kobe, Japan. He is also director of Kobe University Hospital. Prof. Sugimura earned his M.D. degree in 1977 and doctorate in 1983 from Kobe University Faculty of Medicine in Hyogo, Japan. In 1988, he travelled to the United States for a research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco. After returning to Japan, he resumed his post as associate professor of radiology at Shimane Medical University until 1994, when he was promoted to full professor of radiology and became chairman of the department of radiology. He then moved back to his alma mater in 1999 to assume his current posts as professor of radiology and chairman of the department of radiology.
