Konstantinos Kalafatakis received the M.D. degree in medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, the M.S. degree in neuroimaging for research from The University of Edinburgh, U.K., and the Ph.D. degree in translational health sciences from the University of Bristol, U.K. He is specialized in resident neurology. He has been a Lecturer at the Institute of Health Sciences Education, Queen Mary University of London (Malta Campus), since 2022. His research interests include the research about the effects of glucocorticoids in brain physiology and pathology, and the neuroscience research. He is a member of the British Neuroscience Association, the Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MAPS), European College of Neuropsychopharmacology, the Royal Society of Biology (MRSB), the Biochemical Society U.K., and the Mediterranean Neuroscience Society, and a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA). Moreover, he is a member of the Athenian Medical Association (Greece) and the General Medical Council (U.K.).
