Konstantinos Ntougias (Member, IEEE) received the Diploma degree in electronics engineering from the Department of Electronic Engineering, Hellenic Mediterranean University, Chania, Greece, in 2006, the M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, Germany, in 2013, and the Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the Department of Electronic Systems, Aalborg University, Denmark, in 2019. He worked as a network engineer in various organizations from 2007 to 2014 and as a Research Engineer with Athens Information Technology, Greece, from 2014 to 2019. In 2019, he joined the IRIDA Research Centre for Communication Technologies, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE), University of Cyprus, as a Post-Doctoral Researcher. His research interests lie in the general area of wireless communication theory and optimization, with main focus on transceiver design and resource allocation problems for multi-antenna wireless communication systems and especially on the derivation of low-complexity or/and robust algorithms. Specific topics include massive MIMO and cell-free massive MIMO systems, intelligent reflecting surfaces, millimeter-wave/THz communication and hybrid analog-digital transceivers, spectrum sharing, wireless powered communications, physical-layer security, and wireless edge caching.
