Bio
Lars Sommer received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and information technology from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), in 2011 and 2014, respectively, where he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Vision and Fusion Laboratory. His research mainly focuses on machine learning methods especially for the detection and classification of objects in aerial imagery. He is working in close collaboration with the Video Exploitation Systems Department, Fraunhofer IOSB.
