个人简介
Pedro Lee received the bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees in civil and environmental engineering from The University of Adelaide, Australia. He is currently a Full Professor with the Department of Civil and Natural Resources Engineering, University of Canterbury. He is also the Program Director of the civil and natural resources engineering degree with the University of Canterbury. His research is focused on the dynamic response of water infrastructures, with a particular focus on pressure surges within conduits. His current research projects include the non-destructive testing of pipeline condition and the impact of pressure surges within pipe networks during seismic events. He has a proven track record of technological development and is the sole inventor for two new technologies that uses advanced hydraulic models to extract practical information from pressure signals. One of these technologies has a commercial contract with the world’s largest private water company.
