Seng Wai LokeReader and Associate Professor

I am a Reader and Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Information Technology in La Trobe University. I lead the Pervasive Computing Lab at La Trobe, and have authored 'Context-Aware Pervasive Systems: Architectures for a New Breed of Applications' published by Auerbach (CRC Press), Dec 2006. My research has mainly been in pervasive (ubiquitous) computing and mobile computing, focusing on issues concerning systems and information, with current emphases on mobile Big Data, mobile Big Systems, the social impact of mobile technology innovation, Mobile/Physical Web/Cloud development, and how they might interact. Some of my work can be categorised under mobile cyber-physical systems.
