个人简介
I am a German/Italian experimental physicist with a background in astroparticle and high-energy collider physics. The ultimate goal of my research is to understand the fundamental building blocks of Nature: the fascinating world of elementary particles and their interactions.
Within the large ATLAS Collaboration at CERN, and together with currently two postdocs, four PhD students and a master student in Bonn, we are trying to understand how the so-called top quark, the most massive of all elementary particles, couples with photons, Z bosons and the recently discovered Higgs boson. ATLAS data that will be collected in the next few years will allow to investigate these with unprecedented precision. Who knows? Perhaps we find first deviations from theory predictions? That would be really exciting!
