Marios Gatzianas

Marios Gatzianas (Member, IEEE) received the Diploma degree in electrical and computer engineering from AUTH, Greece, in 2000, the M.Sc. degree from Arizona State University, USA, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from AUTH in 2009. He has worked as a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Centre of Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH), Thessaloniki, Greece, from 2009 to 2011, and the School of Information and Communication Systems, EPFL, Lausanne, Switzerland, from 2012 to 2014. He was also an Adjunct Lecturer with the International Hellenic University from 2015 to 2018. Since 2017, he has been working as a Researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Innovation, AUTH, participating in EU-funded research projects. His research interests include cross-layer optimization and control of wireless networks, with emphasis on algorithm analysis/design, information theory, and next generation cellular systems design and performance analysis.
