Bio
I work at the State Key Laboratory of Railway Traffic Control & Safety of Beijing Jiaotong University in China as an associate professor now. My research interests are safety guarantee and risk prevention and control for rail transit, analysis of passenger flow characteristics, and other related fields. Now I am also a senior member of the technical committee on the intelligent transport systems of the Chinese Association for Artificial Intelligence, an evaluation expert of the National Natural Science Foundation of China "Youth Fund", an academic secretary of the R&D center of the transport industry of technologies and equipment of urban rail operation safety management in Ministry of Transport of China, and reviewer of eight international journals including Reliability Engineering & System Safety.
In terms of publications, twenty-seven academic papers have been published, nine invention patents have been authorized, and one book has been compiled.
In terms of the funded projects, I presided over one National Natural Science Foundation of China and one China Postdoctoral Science Foundation participated in six national-level projects, which a total cost was about 27 million yuan, in which I served as the leader of sub-projects, and hosted total cost of 4.718 million yuan.
In terms of scientific research, the theory of networked modeling analysis and design of rail transit system reliability have been proposed, and an active prevention and control system platform about risk chain group construction and safety assurance has been developed, and they have been applied in CRRC Qingdao Sifang, Changchun Rail Passenger Car, and other rail transit host enterprises. Meanwhile, related technologies and theories have been incorporated into the industry normative documents of the Ministry of Transport in China.
In terms of teaching, I obtained the International Certification of ISW Teaching Skills, and teach five specialized courses for postgraduates for about 232 hours, which are "Traffic Safety Engineering B", "Intelligent Transportation Information Processing Technology", "Intelligent Transportation System Design and Integration", "Traffic Safety Information System" and "Intelligent Transportation Engineering Production Practice", and they also have been widely praised by students. During the same period, I have instructed two doctoral students and seven master students, and also assisted my team as the backbone to complete two majors’ production practice and curriculum construction, which are intelligent transportation engineering and safety science engineering.
