Castellanos-Beltran M

Manuel Castellanos-Beltran (Member, IEEE) was born in Orizaba, Mexico, on 1980. He received the B.E. degree in engineering physics from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, Monterrey, NL, USA, in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Colorado-Boulder, Boulder, CO, USA, in 2010 working on developing Josephson parametric amplifiers for quantum information applications and quantum-limited measurements. From 2010 to 2012, he was a Postdoctoral Associate with Yale University where he studied persistent currents in normal metal mesoscopic rings using torque magnetometry techniques. In 2012, he joined NIST, where he was a PREP Postdoctoral Fellow from 2012 to 2013 and an NRC Postdoctoral Fellow from 2013 to 2015 studying low noise amplification with Josephson parametric amplifier for qubit readout. He is currently a Researcher for the Superconductive Electronics Group working in the development of a high-frequency arbitrary waveform synthesizer using cryogenic superconductive electronics for microwave metrology and quantum information applications.
