His research covers various areas of visual computing, in particular real-time rendering and visualization, 3D reconstruction of static and dynamic objects, and virtual and augmented reality, and image forensics. He is a member of the program committee of all major computer graphics conferences, such as Siggraph, Siggraph Asia, Eurographics, ACM I3D, or ACM High Performance Graphics, and the Eurographics Executive Committee. He was the Co-Chair of the Program Committee of Eurographics 2009 and the Eurographics Symposium on Rendering in 2010. He currently serves as the Eurographics Professional Board Chair. He is an Associate Editor of the Journal on Computer Graphics Tools.
