My actual research project intends to re-evaluate the educational role of walking as a physical path of knowledge of the territory.
The one who walks, walking through places, meeting people and other living beings, proceeds slowly, without protections and completely exposed to the environment. It is a practice that pays attention to the things in which knowledge is acquired through the experience of the body and not from the conceptual need to do it; we are exposed to being immunized (Ingold, 2018).
Walking is an "all-round" experience, in which the body has a central role and is in tune with natural times and spaces, as Le Breton (2013, p. 22) argues: "walking reduces immensity of the world to the size of the body ”.
