Research Areas
Dr. Cooke's research interests are in biomonitoring genotoxin exposure, and understanding the implications of this for cellular function and disease. In particular, he studies oxidative stress and the formation and repair of oxidatively generated damage to nucleic acids and the dNTP pool, at the molecular and organismal level.
