Former technical writer and translator, I am co-coordinator of the professional Master’s degree in Language Industry and Specialised Translation. I conduct research in corpus linguistics and textometrics applied to specialised discourse analysis. My latest teaching and research projects focus on the development of a pragmatic approach to teaching specialised translation that takes into account technology-driven changes of language professions and multilingual communication in the digital age.
