Bio
Martin Ćalasan (Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Montenegro, Podgorica, Montenegro, in 2009, 2010, and 2017, respectively.
He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Power System and Automatics, University of Montenegro. His research interests include induction machines, switched reluctance generators, electrical braking, excitation systems of synchronous generators, and solar energy.
Dr. Ćalasan is currently a Secretary and Representative for Montenegro in IEEE Chapter Power and Energy (PE-31). He is also a member of several international and national organizations and associations including Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Conseil International des Grands Réseaux Electriques (CIGRE), and CIGRE CG KO.
