个人简介
Mathieu Kociak is a researcher at the National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS), he is research director in the STEM team of the Solid Physics Laboratory (LPS) in Orsay, France. His main areas of research focus on the study of the correlation between the structure and the optical and electronic properties of individual nanoobjects, implementing a set of developments in instrumentation for electron microscopy, experiments relating to theory, science , technologies, engineering and mathematical aspects (STEM) of the electron / matter / photon interaction. He is currently working more specifically on nanoptics with fast electrons using energy loss spectroscopy and nano-cathodoluminescence (STEM-CL). He transferred his STEM-CL technology to the Attolight company. He is scientific director of CHROMATEM, a very high voltage electron microscopy project; he is also the director in France of METSA, the electron microscopy network. Mathieu's work has been recognized on several occasions, notably with the Guiner Prize of the French Society of Physics (2002), the quadrennial FEI-EM award (2012) awarded by the European Microscopy Society, the Innovation Prize of the University Paris-Sud (2014) and the Agar medal from the Royal Society of Microscopy (2015).
