Bio
I am a research scientist at the Human Language Technology Center of Excellence and in the Department of Computer Science at Johns Hopkins University. My main research interest is machine translation, but I also like grammar correction, parsing, and other things that involve syntax.
I have once or continue to maintain the Joshua decoder, co-advise (with Benjamin Van Durme) Keisuke Sakaguchi, and co-organize the Workshop on Statistical Machine Translation. I am a member of the NAACL executive board (2015–2016) and am a 2015 NAACL publications co-chair (with Adam Lopez).
