I was born in Rome, September 25th 1981 Education Liceo Scientifico diploma in 2000 (grade: 100/100) Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering at Universiy of Rome "Sapienza" in 2005 (grade: 110/110 cum laude) Thesis title: "Realization of a development and simulation environment for the PD32 processor" Master of Science in Computer Engineering at University of Rome "Sapienza" in 2007 (grade: 110/110 cum laude) Thesis title: "Plan execution with stochastic choices and actions", available in the spqr website (the thesis is in italian). Awarded with the prize for the best thesis in Computer Engineering in the Engineering Faculty of the University of Rome "Sapienza" in the ay 2005-2006, funded by Accenture. In June 2008 I attended the course organized by Società Italiana di Statistica (SIS) on Statistical Machine Learning In September 2008 I attended the 10th Machine Learning Summer School at Ile de Re, France From May toNovember 2009 I have joined the Autonomous Learning Laboratory at UMass Amherst and worked with Prof. Andy Barto and his group. From February to July 2010 I have worked at the Institute of Perception, Action, and Behaviour which is part of the School of Informatics at The University of Edinburgh with Dr Subramanian Ramamoorthy. PhD in Computer Engineering at University of Rome "Sapienza" (cycle 23) in 2011. I defended a thesis with title: "Reinforcement Learning in Plan Space" (available in my publications' page). Currently: post-doc (assegno di ricerca) at University of Rome "Sapienza", working with Dr Luca Iocchi.
