Matteo Saveriano (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in automatic control engineering from the University of Naples Federico II, Italy, in 2008 and 2011, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Munich, in 2017. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Industrial Engineering (DII), University of Trento, Italy. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor with the University of Innsbruck and a Postdoctoral Researcher with the German Aerospace Center (DLR). His research interests include robot learning, human-robot interaction, and understanding and interpreting human activities.
