LAB EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Working with next generation light sources such as APS/Argonne, LCLS/Stanford (Xray) and ELBE/Dresden-Rossendorf (FEL) carrying out high profile research
Developed high intensity THz sources with unprecedented peak power
Built THz-time domain spectroscopy labs for pump-probe experiments with high field
single-cycle pulses at MIT and DESY/Hamburg.
Hands-on experience with various state-of-the-art high-power, high repetition rate
femtosecond laser systems (Coherent, KMLabs, Femtolasers).
Characterized MV/cm THz fields from coherent transition beam line at FLASH in the
time domain with electro-optical methods
Data analysis and lab automation in Matlab, Mathematica and Labview
Developed and fabricated ultrafast photoconductive switches in a clean room using
photolithographic techniques.
Built fiber coupled THz-time domain spectroscopy system.
Programmed and developed digital electronic microprocessor circuits in FPGAs
