个人简介
Matthias Hagen is Juniorprofessor at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar and head of the junior research group "Big Data Analytics." His current research interests include information retrieval and web search (e.g., query formulation, query segmentation, log analysis, search sessions and missions), Big Data, crowdsourcing, and text reuse.
Professional background: Matthias Hagen studied computer science at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (FSU). After completing his diploma thesis in June 2004 he joined the research group of Prof. Martin Mundhenk at FSU and worked on algorithmic and computational complexity problems concerning the equivalence test of monotone Boolean formulas and transversal hypergraph generation. In February 2007 Matthias Hagen also joined the research group Programming Languages / Methodologies of Prof. Claudia Fohry at the University of Kassel. There he worked on the optimization of the wiring harness in cars together with specialists from Volkswagen, Continental, and Sumitomo within the OBA project. In November 2008, Matthias Hagen defended his PhD thesis on "Algorithmic and Computational Complexity Issues of MONET" at FSU and moved to the working group Web Technology and Information Systems at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. There he was head of the junior research group "Intelligentes Lernen" (intelligent learning) fundet by the BMBF.
Since November 2013, Matthias Hagen is Juniorprofessor for "Big Data Analytics" and head of a respective junior research group funded by the BMBF in the InnoProfile-Transfer program. The group is focusing on retrieval, mining and visualization in the context of big data.
