Bio
Md. Noor-A-Rahim received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute for Telecommunications Research, University of South Australia, Adelaide, Australia, in 2015. He is currently a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) with the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, University College Cork, Ireland. Prior to this role, he was a Marie Curie Fellow with the School of Computer Science and Information Technology, University College Cork. He also held the position of a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Centre for Infocomm Technology (INFINITUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. His research interests include intelligent transportation systems, machine learning, the Internet of Things, and signal processing. In recognition of his academic excellence, he was honored with the Michael Miller Medal from the Institute for Telecommunications Research (ITR), University of South Australia, for presenting the most outstanding Ph.D. thesis in 2015.
