Michael Meaney is a McGill Professor of Medicine in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology & Neurosurgery, and Associate Director of the Douglas Hospital Research Centre in Montreal. He is also a CIHR Senior Scientist. He holds a B.Sc. in Psychology/Biology from Loyola College (1975), an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Concordia University (1977), and a Ph.D. in Psychobiology from Concordia (1981). After completing NSERC Post-doctoral and University Research Fellowships at Rockefeller and Concordia Universities respectively, Dr. Meaney came to McGill University in 1985.
