His fields of professional interest are quantitative ultrsaound imaging, cancer diagnosis using ultrasound treatment monitoring using quantitative ultrasound, the development of novel beamforming techniques and super resolution, machine learning for diagnostic ultrasound and automated image classification, inverse scattering techniques for sound speed and attenuation imaging, the development of beamforming techniques to visualize focused ultrasound beams during therapy, focused ultrasound therapies for treating multiple sclerosis, use of ultrasound with microbubbles and nanobubbles and use fo ultrasound to induce mechnical effects in novel materials.
