Bio
Michael Manser received the PhD degree from the University of Minnesota, is active with the Human and Ergonomics Society and the Transportation Research Board. He is a senior research scientist and human factors program manager with the Center for Transportation Safety (CTS), Texas A&M Transportation Institute. His work examines the behavioral, cognitive, and perceptual driver-related factors that contribute to transportation safety, mobility, and efficiency with a specific focus on the interaction between drivers, vehicles, and infrastructure-based technology. He has more than 19 years of professional experience in the area of transportation human factors research. He has written book chapters and professional journal articles within the domain of human factors and transportation.
