I am a Research Staff Member at the Information Retrieval Solutions group at IBM HRL. I received my PhD degree in information and computer sciences from the University of California at Irvine in 2009 under the supervision of Prof. Chen Li. The aim of my research is the development of methods and algorithms for generating user profiling and trends analytic on top of a scalable distributed platform (Hadoop, Jaql). I used to work on SAPIR -Search In Audio Visual Content Using Peer-to-Peer IR. (European IST FP6 Project ) Research Interests: Large scale dynamic data integration and management in a distributed databases and internet based systems including GIS systems, P2P systems, broadcast systems, social network applications, information retrieval and search technologies.
