My research focuses on expanding the theory and practice of place-based social-ecological approaches to enhance nature conservation and human well-being. I am specifically interested in human dimensions of conservation and landscape sustainability, such as biocultural diversity, human-nature connectedness, ecosystem services, relational values, TEK, transdisciplinarity for knowledge co-production, and understanding values formation, expression and shift concerning human-nature relationships.
