Minas Dasygenis (M'99) was born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1976. He received the Diploma in electrical and computer engineering, and the Ph.D. degree from the Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece, in 1999 and 2005, respectively. He is currently the Head of ELKEDE—Technology and Design Center S.A.—Research and Design Center, Branch of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece. His research interests include low-power VLSI design of arithmetic circuits, residue number system, embedded system design, digital signal processors, hardware/software codesign and IT security. He has published more than 25 papers in international journals and conferences and he has been a Principal Researcher in three European research projects. Dr. Dasygenis was honored by The Technical Chamber of Greece and Ericsson Hellas for his Diploma Thesis.
