Ebeed Mohamed

Mohamed Ebeed Hussein is a jointly-supervised Ph.D. degree from the department of Electrical Engineering Aswan Faculty of Engineering, Aswan University, Egypt and University of Jaen, Spain in 2018. He is postdoctoral researcher at Department of Electrical Engineering, Jaen University, Linares, Spain. From 2008 to 2009, he was a lecturer at the Aswan Technical Institute. From 2009 to 2017, he was a maintenance engineer at the EFACO Company. He is an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Sohag University, Egypt. On Dec 2021 she won Maria Zambrano fellowship on projects entitled “Computational tools, coordinated control and stability of multi-energy microgrids with electricity, hydrogen and gas vectors” Funding body: State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research (2021-2023) and on project entitled ‘’ New solutions for microgrid clusters’’ Funding body: State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research (2021-2023). Regarding the research activity since 2015. Regarding the research activity since 2015, his work is focused on the inclusion the renewable energy resources such as Wind energy conversion system (WECS), Photovoltaic systems (PVs), hydro-turbines. In addition to modeling of The Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) controllers such as GUPFC, IPFC, C-UPFC and SSSC. Application of the optimization techniques to solve several optimization problem in electric systems such as optimal energy management of electrical system, Optimal power flow, Optimal reactive power flow and optimal location and sizes of DGs and FACTS devices. According to Web of Science by Clarivate Analytics: 747 total citations, 64 papers included in the Journal Citation Reports, h index: 16. According to Scopus by Elsevier: 76 papers, 1060 total citations, h index: 18. According to Google Scholar: 95 papers, 1319 total citations, h index 21.
