Mohammad Mahdavian received his Ph.D. from the Polytechnic University of Tehran (Amirkabir), Iran, in 2009. He then worked as an academic faculty member at the Institute for Color Science and Technology up to 2011. Then, for a period of 2.5 years, he worked as a faculty member at Sahand University, Tabriz, Iran. He is currently working as an associate professor in Institute for Color Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran. His main research interest is corrosion inhibitors, polymeric coatings, surface treatment, and carbon allotropes.
