Mona Nasseri

Mona Nasseri (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from The University of Toledo, Toledo, OH, USA, in 2015. She has continued her research as a Postdoctoral Fellow with the University of California, Davis, Davis, CA, USA, developing LDPC codes for high performance optical communication systems. In April 2017, she joined the Department of Neurology, Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN, USA, as a Postdoctoral Fellow and was with Bioelectronics Neurology and Engineering Laboratory. In 2019, she was promoted to an Assistant Professor of neurology. She is currently an Assistant Professor with Electrical Engineering Department, University of North Florida, Jacksonville, FL, USA. Her research focus with Mayo Clinic was on implementing machine learning and signal processing techniques to develop real time seizure prediction and detection algorithms using minimally invasive monitoring devices to record physiological signals. Her current research interests include information theory, coding theory, mobile communications networks, physiological signal processing, and machine learning.
