Naoyuki Kanda

Naoyuki Kanda (M’16) received the B.Eng., M.Inf., and Ph.D. degrees in informatics from Kyoto University, Kyoto, Japan, in 2004, 2006, and 2013, respectively. Since joining Hitachi Ltd., Tokyo, Japan, in 2006, he has been working on the development of algorithms for speech recognition, spoken term detection, and spoken dialog systems. In 2014, he was seconded to the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), Kyoto, Japan, where he conducted research in acoustic modeling for speech recognition. In 2016, he went back to Hitachi Ltd., where he currently a Researcher and is conducting research in speech recognition. He has also been a Collaborative Researcher of NICT since 2016.
