I am currently a PhD Candidate at the Vienna University of Technology (TU WIEN). I graduated from the same university with my MSc in Software Engineering and Internet Computing in 2015 while gained a student grant for research on master thesis from Information and Software Engineering Group (IFS) and particularly the Information Management and Preservation (IMP) team. Following my master program, I gained a Research Assistant position in the IFS group supervised by Dr. Allan Hanbury. The focus of my research is on applying Semantics and Deep Learning in Information Retrieval and NLP. Beside academic career, working for more than one decade in software engineering companies has granted me valuable knowledge on using state-of-the-art software engineering technologies–specifically .NET-based tools–in order to design and develop large scale information systems in the branch of E-Business, Stock Market, ERP, and Banking.
