Nikolaos Pappas is an Associate Professor and Docent in the Department of Science and Technology, Linköping University. He joined LiU in March 2014 as a Marie Curie Fellow (IAPP) at the Mobile Telecommunications Group. Nikolaos received his B.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Crete, Greece in 2005, and M.S. degree in Computer Science from University of Crete, Greece, in 2007. He also received his B.S. degree in Mathematics from University of Crete, Greece in 2012. He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Computer Science of the University Of Crete, Greece in August 2012. From 2005 to 2012, he was a graduate research assistant with the Telecommunications and Networks Laboratory of the ICS-FORTH and he has been a visiting scholar at the Institute of Systems Research at the University of Maryland. From Sep. 2012 to Feb. 2014, Nikolaos was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Telecommunications, at Supélec, Gif Sur Yvette, France. From Feb. 2013 to Jan. 2018 he was serving as an Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters. Currently he is serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Communications, the IEEE/KICS Journal of Communications and Networks, and the IEEE Open Journal of Communications Society.
