Bio
Ozgur Ozdemir (oozdemi@ncsu.edu) received the BS degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bogazici University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 1999 and the MS and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Dallas, Richardson, TX, USA, in 2002 and 2007, respectively. From 2007 to 2016 he was an Assistant Professor at Fatih University, Turkey, and worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at Qatar University for 3.5 years. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Carolina State University (NCSU) as a visiting research scholar in 2017. He is now serving as an Associate Research Professor at NCSU. His research interests include software-defined radios, channel sounding for mmWave systems, digital compensation of radio-frequency impairments, and opportunistic approaches in wireless systems.
