个人简介
Pablo graduated from University of A Coruña (Spain) in 2013 with a MEng in Civil Engineering. He received an Erasmus grant to spend the 2010/11 academic year at Chalmers University of Technology (Sweden). In 2017 he received his PhD in high-fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics and Tidal Energy at Cardiff University (UK), during which he was awarded the JFK prize at the 2015 IAHR World Congress and finalist in the Osborne Reynolds Competition in 2016 and 2017. While at Cardiff University, he worked as Research Software Engineer in the Supercomputing Wales project for 18 months until he was appointed as Lecturer in Computational Hydraulics in 2019. He was member of the 2019 GW4 Crucible in Digital Innovation. Pablo moved to the University of Manchester in 2020 as Dame Kathleen Ollerenshaw Fellow. His research focuses on offshore renewable energy (tidal and wind), environmental turbulent flows and high-fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics; with particular interest in research-led industrial innovation.
