个人简介
He has a consolidated experience in the field of catalytic processes and nanomaterials. Main research subjects are: abatement of pollutants from stationary power plants, soot catalytic oxidation from gasoline or Diesel engines, catalytic combustion of methane, coal/biomass combustion, selective oxidation of light alkanes, photocatalysed selective oxidation of hydrocarbons. With reference to nanomaterials, research concerns Science and technology of zeolites, carbon nanotubes, nanoparticles. Other fields are Innovation in tanning process and Process and transport safety.
Prof. Ciambelli was responsible of National and European Projects and of Research Contracts financed by public institutions and private companies. He is author of over 250 publications on international journals and 12 patents.
