Research Interests
Dr. Wang’s research focuses are high-temperature aqueous corrosion of structural material and irradiation accelerated corrosion in Light Water Reactors (LWR) environment. His recent research activities involve the development of novel methods for testing high-performance corrosion-resistant materials in the LWR environment using state-of-the-art in-situ proton irradiation-corrosion testing systems and study the corrosion behavior and interactions between fuel cladding materials and radiolysis of water.
