Philipp Andelfinger

Philipp Andelfinger received the Diploma and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the University of Rostock, Germany. Previously, he held positions as a Research Scientist with the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, TN, USA, and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His research interests include simulation-based optimization, parallel and distributed simulation, heterogeneous computing, agent-based simulation, and network simulation. To date, his work received seven best paper awards at international conferences and workshops.
