个人简介
My main research is in the area of advanced manufacturing, including micro/nano-manufacturing, additive manufacturing, and precision engineering. The research combines multi-disciplinary expertise in mechatronics, solid mechanics, dynamics and control, etc. The main thread of my current research is to utilize non-traditional physical principles to develop new and enhanced manufacturing processes and equipment.
Examples of my current research include: (1) fast structural coloration of metallic surfaces using modulation machining; (2) non-contact manipulation and actuators based on near-field acoustic levitation; (3) µ-3D printing using near-field electrospinning.
