Bio
Pradip Kumar Sharma (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and engineering from the Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Seoul, South Korea, in 2019. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Cybersecurity with the Department of Computing Science, University of Aberdeen, Aberdeen, U.K. He was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Multimedia Engineering, Dongguk University, Seoul. He was a Software Engineer with MAQ Software, Redmond, WA, USA, and was involved in a variety of projects, proficient in building large-scale complex data warehouses, OLAP models, and reporting solutions that meet business objectives and align IT with business. He has authored or coauthored many technical research papers in leading journals. Some of his research findings are published in the most cited journals. His current research interests include cybersecurity, blockchain, edge computing, software-defined networking, collaborative learning, and Internet of Things security. He was listed in the world’s Top 2% Scientists for citation impact by Stanford University. He has also been listed as a Top 1% Reviewer in computer science by Clarivate Analytics.
