Bio
Qiteng Hong (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.Eng. (Hons.) and Ph.D. degrees in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K., in 2011 and 2015, respectively, where he is currently a Lecturer and a Strathclyde Chancellor’s Fellow. His main research focuses on power system protection and control in future networks with high penetration of renewable generation. From 2016 to 2019, he was a Technical Lead with the CIGRE U.K. Next Generation Network, and a Regular Member of the CIGRE Working Group B5.50 and IEEE Working Group P2004.
