个人简介
His main research interest are Technetium and Rhenium, radiopharmaceutical and bioorganometallic chemistry for molecular imaging purposes. Besides these two main research fields, his group is also active in Vitamin B12 chemistry, in the finding of field sensor probes for MR imaging and in basic organometallic chemistry. Currently, he is chairing the University Research Priority Program “Light to Chemical Energy Conversion (LightChEC). In this interinstitutional project between physics, chemistry and material sciences, it is the objective of finding architectures for solar light induced water splitting, also called artificial photosynthesis. This extended the research fields substantially into the direction of sustainable processes.
