R. Venkatesan received the M.C.A. degree from Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), India, in 2005, and the M.E. degree in computer science and engineering and the Ph.D. degree in computer applications from Anna University, Chennai, India, in 2009 and 2017, respectively. In 2010, he joined the Department of Information Technology, Tejaa Shakthi Institute of Technology for Women, as a Senior Lecturer, and later he joined as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Excel Engineering College, affiliated to Anna University. Since June 2016, he has been with the School of Computing - IT, SASTRA Deemed University, where he is an Assistant Professor. His current research interests include network security and data mining. He is the Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), the Indian Society of Systems for Science and Engineering (ISSE), India. He is an Oracle Certified Associate (OCA).
