Full Professor in Lodz University of Technology (TUL) at the Department of Concrete Structures. Vice-Dean for Development at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering (TUL). She received: M.Eng. (1992); PhD (1999), Assoc. Prof. (2013) and Full Prof. (2020).
Member of: ACI Committee 440 (FRPR), Fib Task Group 9.3 (FRPRCS), RILEM TC 234-DUC, CEN-TC250-SC2-WG1-TG1 and TG4, IIFC Vice President (2010-2016), IIFC Fellow. Last Research Grants: 1. Coordinator of the “Innovative technologies of strengthening reinforced concrete structures” in the Operational Program Innovative Economy; 2. Coordinator of the Polish Swiss Research Program Acronym TULCOEMPA No 93980 “Structural Health Monitoring in Sustainability of Civil Engineering Infrastructure” (collaboration with EMPA- - Zurich); 3. Coordinator of the national project “Development and preparation for the implementation of sulphur concrete technology based on waste products from the energy and petrochemical industry " NCBiR GEKON1.
Research Interest: 1. Strengthening of reinforced concrete structures; 2. Durability of FRP materials (bars, laminates, epoxy adhesives, durability of carbon tendons in marine environments); 3. Structural health monitoring in civil engineering infrastructure under static and cyclic loads; 4. FRP reinforced concrete members (new structures); 5. FRP prestressed and post-tensioned concrete structures (FTP tendons, anchorages); 6. Highly durable composite prestressing CFRP tendons in modular floating concrete structures; 7. Application of advanced fibre-reinforced polymers (FRP) in civil engineering (hybrid structures); 8. Sulphur-polymer concrete in civil engineering applications
