Rob has recently taken on the position of Associate Dean Research in the Faculty of Health and Social Development at UBC - Okanagan. His research focus is on the acute and chronic effects of exercise on cardiac structure and function in health and disease. A major focus of Rob's work over the last few years has been the International Primate Heart Project which he set up to explore cardiovascular disease in great apes, and to examine the evolution of the human heart.
