个人简介
Research by Sander Nieuwenhuis
Research in The Temporal Attention Lab focuses on temporal fluctuations in non-spatial attention (or arousal) and the neural basis of temporal attention. There are 3 main themes:
The role of the locus coeruleus-norepinephrine system in human cognition.
Trial-to-trial fluctuations in cognitive control.
The effects of phasic and tonic alertness on information processing.
These topics are studied using behavioural methods, EEG, fMRI, pharmacology, genetics, patient studies and computational modeling.
