Sandra Roger (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), València, Spain, in 2012. She performed two research stays with the Institute of Telecommunications, Vienna University of Technology, Vienna, Austria, during doctorate studies. From 2012 to 2018, she was a Senior Researcher with the iTEAM Research Institute, UPV, where she was engaged in European Projects METIS and METIS-II on 5G design. In 2019, she joined the Computer Science Department of the Universitat de València, where she is currently an Associate Professor. She has authored or coauthored around 60 papers in renowned conferences and journals. Her research interests mainly include the field of signal processing for communications, vehicular communications, and wireless system design.
