Satwik Kottur received the bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with a minor in computer science and engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, in 2014. He is working toward the PhD degree from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, advised by José M. F. Moura, and works closely with Devi Parikh and Dhruv Batra. His research interests include in high-level artificial intelligence tasks at the intersection of language and vision. He is a recipient of Carnegie Institute of Technology Dean's Fellowship, a Snap Inc. Research Fellowship 2017, and has won the best short paper award at EMNLP 2017.
